Check Out Portland’s Spiciest Pumpkin Patch: Bella Organic Farm
Even with the unseasonably warm weather, there’s no denying that it’s fall in the Pacific Northwest! And for those of us who live here, it’s hard to resist diving head-first into autumn activities, no matter the weather. Once October hits, we pull our hoodies out of the back of the closet, make a big pot of soup, and seek out the coziest flavors of the season.
At Portland Cider, that means we’re raising proper pints of Pumpkin Spice Cider at every opportunity! And one of our favorite places to do it is at Bella Organic Farm on Sauvie Island. There’s a whole pile of autumn fun to be had there, and it’s one of the most perfect ways to spend a day. Hay rides, a huge pumpkin patch and some incredibly photogenic farm animals will keep you entertained, and there are all sorts of other fun activities for kids and kids-at-heart. Then refuel with hot, fresh corn on the cob and wash it down with our Pumpkin Spice Cider before heading into the corn maze—or the after-dark haunted corn maze, if that’s more your speed!
Bella Organic Farm is just a 20-minute drive north of the heart of Portland, but the farmland, vistas and wildlife preserves around the island will make you feel far, far away from the bustle of the city. And there are plenty of other fun things to do around town this season. Check out Travel Portland’s guide to local fall events and activities, and get out and play.
This year, we’ve partnered with Bella Organics to offer some lucky cider fans passes to the corn maze and vouchers for free pumpkins! There are a couple of ways you can enter: keep your eyes peeled for a quick, easy text-to-win number at your favorite store where you buy Portland Cider; or hop over to our Instagram page for directions on entering there. Good luck, and we’ll see you at Bella!
