Hard Ball Margarita

Let the fiesta begin! It’s the only margarita recipe you’ll ever need – our Hard Ball Margarita. We’ve combined Portland Cider’s Squeeze Play cider with Crater Lake Spirits Añejo Agave Spirit for the ultimate Cinco de Mayo bevvy. 

Portland Cider’s newest release sparked the idea for this tasty collaboration. Squeeze Play is a margarita-inspired cider, bursting with fresh citrus and a pinch of salt & hops. It only seemed fitting to add a few shots of a silky agave spirit and Crater Lake Spirit’s Añejo Agave Spirit was the winner. The spirit brings a smooth and irresistibly perfect punch to the cider cocktail.

Hard Ball Margarita

Ingredients

2 oz Crater Lake Añejo Agave Spirit 

3 oz Portland Cider Squeeze Play cider

1 oz Cointreau 

1 oz lime juice

1 oz simple syrup

Optional garnish: salted rim and fresh slice of lime.

Salt the rim of your favorite glass and set aside. Add all ingredients into a mixing glass and gently stir. Pour into your salted rim glass filled with ice. Garnish with a fresh slice of lime.
