Portland Cider Club Restructing in 2021!

With the New Year will come new things for the Portland Cider Club!

We heard your feedback on ways to improve and make Portland Cider Club, so we are making it BIGGER and BETTER for 2021! Portland Cider Club will be transitioning to a quarterly shipment program instead of a monthly shipment after December 2020.

2020 was a year full of twists and turns but Portland Cider Co. has taken this time to innovate and plan for the new year. Our cider makers are thrilled to release fun and exciting ciders throughout 2021. Your shipment will transition from a monthly 6- pack to a quarterly case of 19.2 oz "Proper Pints". Each quarterly shipment has a curated theme, jammed packed with bold new flavors!

Since you are a valuable member of our Portland Cider Co. fam, we wanted to give you a heads up about all of these changes and explain what you can expect.

Will my membership automatically rollover? 

Yes! If you are a current Portland Cider Club member and would like to continue your membership, now on a quarterly basis, no action is necessary. 

However, please note, we will be changing our payment platform from Squarespace to Subbly. Squarespace will send you a notification your subscription has been canceled, but it is not being canceled, so you can disregard this email from them. This is an automatic email from their platform that we do not have the ability to turn off.

Internally we will transfer your shipping and billing information to Subbly. Once our team has completed this, you will get a second email, this time from Subbly, that you have been subscribed.

Will there be a price difference?

Yes, but you’ll be getting more bang for your buck! As a quarterly box, we will now be sending you 12 Proper Pint cans (instead of the previous 6) of Portland Cider Co. cider.  Pricing will be $45 for Clackamas Pub Pick Up, $55 for Local Fam delivered to your home, and $60 for our Extended Fam. 

What’s local pickup?

Great question! Local pickup is a new option in 2021, available to anyone who wants to pick-up their cider shipment at our Clackamas Pub. Instead of receiving the cider shipments via postal delivery, you will get a notification when the quarterly box is ready for pickup at the Clackamas taproom to pick-up within a set timeframe.

Please note, due to some changes with our local shipping partner Rynly, these zip codes have changed for our local Washington members.

Extended Fam includes zip codes in all of our other distribution areas in Oregon, Washington, and California. 

When is the first quarterly shipment?

You can expect this to hit your doorstep (or be ready for local pickup) early this spring, just in time to celebrate our 2021 Anniversary!

Are there other benefits to being a member besides the cider shipment? 

Many of the current membership benefits will remain the same as this program transitions to a quarterly basis. These can include but will not be limited to food & cider pairings, cocktails, access to Cider Cellars, and cider maker interviews.
