Portland Cider Company announces opening date for their new tap room location in Clackamas, OR
March 15, 2016 (Portland, OR) – The Portland Cider Company announced this week that it will be opening the new Clackamas tap room location on Friday, April 1, 2016. This location will feature a new, larger cider production facility fronted by a traditional tap room that will include shuffleboard, darts and other fun activities. To celebrate the opening, Portland Cider Co. will feature two limited release ciders, food trucks and live music on both Friday and Saturday nights (April 1 & 2).
Local bands performing include Friday night entertainment from Tin Silver, Yonder Blue, and Bird on a Capo,with a Saturday night highlight performance from The Domestics, with opening acts by Rare Diagram and Nicolai Carrera. All entertainment is free of charge. Portland Cider will have two limited release ciders on tap, including a unique blend of cider infused with spicy chai tea leaves. With plentiful food to choose from at the food carts, and cider flowing all night long with live tunes, it’s going to be a rocking grand opening celebration.
“This is a big move for our company” says founder, Jeff Parrish. “We are very excited for our new location with its fantastic exposure along I205, which will undoubtedly draw people’s attention to our new taproom. The additional space will allow us to offer regular music events as well as a limited food menu. We are all looking forward to this weekend so we can share all our hard work and enjoy the night with our fellow cider enthusiasts.”
The Clackamas tap room will feature twelve taps where customers can enjoy an assortment of Portland Cider Company ciders on tap, including their flagship flavors, Kinda Dry, Sorta Sweet, Pearfect Perry and Hop’rageous. In addition to these popular flavors, the company also offers seasonal varieties. Currently those include Mojito, Maui Cruiser and Passion Fruit. Unique to the Clackamas location, there will also be four rotating local craft beers on tap. The tap room will be open from noon until 8 pm Sunday through Thursday and noon until 10 pm Friday and Saturday.
The Portland Cider Company has another location, the Portland Cider House, in Portland’s Hawthorne District, where they offer 28 ciders on tap to the public. Their bottled and canned ciders are available in Oregon, Washington, Colorado and California.
