Celebrate Oregon Cider with us this Oregon Cider Week, June 17-27, 2021
June marks the start of summer, so it’s naturally a beloved month here at Portland Cider Co., but it’s also our favorite “Week” of the year — Oregon Cider Week. An eleven-day celebration of all things cider here in Oregon, toasting to the cideries, fans, and businesses that have made the cider culture what it is here in the Pacific Northwest.
Typically, Oregon Cider Week is chock-full of events from ALL the cideries here in Oregon: special releases, festivals, tap takeovers, cider dinners, cider donuts, and so much more. This year, and last, the festivities are a little quieter.
But, there’s still a lot to celebrate for the craft cider market here in Oregon! Did you know that cider sales are up 14% in Oregon in the last 6 months, year over year?¹ And regional craft cideries (like us!) are driving that growth, with Oregon regional craft cider sales up 32.4% in the first quarter versus the last year².
So we’re going to throw a party (or several) because it’s 2021 and that’s what we love to do here at Portland Cider! Virtually or in-person, our crew has put together a list of events and specialties to celebrate Oregon Cider Week this June 17-27, 2021.

Here in Oregon, we are fortunate to have many different cideries, each with its unique style. At Portland Cider, we are dedicated to using 100% Northwest apples and real fruits in every cider, using the award-winning techniques we’re known for to create the best cider in Portland. Influenced by our English roots, but with a Northwest spin for innovative, creative ciders that run the entire style range: traditional to modern, imperial to sessionable and light, or fruity to bone dry. Use this week as inspiration to try something new from Portland Cider Co. or our Northwest cider friends.
Let’s toast to Oregon cider - Cheers!
